Ad Fail in Fredrikstad, Norway!

Yep, that’s one informative blog title. And I’ve got the pictures to prove it! First the story; Here I was taking a stroll around in lovely Fredrikstad, Norway. Minding my own business, contemplating world domination and how to wash socks. Then *KABAM BLOWZY POWZER*! Some nutjob decided to, well, I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves;

.

I don’t know about the coffee, but the placement of this ad surely isn’t ‘VERYGOOD’. Well, it is. I sure did notice the ad.

Unrelated freezing pics; Icecar. Dangerous ice water. Norway is cold. : (

    For advertising, yes. For walking; Hells Noes! I’m gonna pretend not to see it the next time, and walk straight into it. Then I’ll sue! Sue the hell out of … whoever is responsible! I’ll be rich, filthy rich! Bwaahhahahahahhaha!

    Pedestrians can pass by pretty easily, yet I wonder how many forehead bumps this sign -in combination with cellphones and iPods- has caused so far.

    Kind of a bummer for bikers (as if it’s not enough how we don’t want them on the pavement and motorists don’t want them on the road) / wheelchair / other mobility devices that has to take the scenic route through the parking house.

    Yep, fantastic placement! Probably initiated by the pizzashop in the parking house. They’re forcing them to go by!

    You should try walking past that advert with a 2 year old in a stroller – enough to make you throttle somebody!!

    Heh, I imagine! Seems like all the work that was going on is finished now though – a bit easier to get past.
