Sunday Workout Log
Self-awareness is a bitch...I don’t know what happened, but somewhere down the line the last two-three years I’ve gained alot of weight. Not something I’m particularly proud of, but at least I am aware of it. I don’t really care what other people might say, it’s just that … none of my t-shirts fit anymore! >:( So something has to change. When departing Trondheim late in 2006 in search of something better, I weighed in at a grand 60-something kilos. I’m 184cm tall, a weight of 60 is perhaps a tad too anorexic, so I’m not aiming for that. In fact, I’m just gonna settle for “fitting into all those t-shirts I love”. Weight is just a number – as long as you’re satisfied with yourself, nothing else matters.
Now, I know that I’m gonna need some kind of motivation along the way – hence this (weekly) post. Every sunday I’ll start posting my progress; How much I’ve trained that particular week, and how much that number has gone down(yeah, I’m not tough enough to post my current weight… : D). Oh, and yeah, I’m going to be brutally honest here. If I didn’t do any workout, I won’t lie about it. Hopefully the “total weight”-column will be a negative number every week, which in turn will continue to motivate me! See, it makes sense, I’m optimistic! I predict a very sore Thomas the next couple of weeks, though. I’m getting exhausted just tying my shoelaces these days. Next sunday marks the first week of training – It’s going to be … exciting!
And if you got through all that text; thank you! I’m not sure why people read my blog, but I’m very glad you do. Thank you. : )
